A Casa di Dante is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act).

Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: most requirements are met, but some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are working on continuous improvement.

Measures taken

• Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link.
• Semantic content structure, alternative text for informative images, and labels on form fields.
• Respect for reduced-motion preferences and AA-level colour contrast for text.
• Interactive components (dialogs, menus, the support chat) built with the appropriate ARIA roles and focus management.

Known limitations

Some areas may still have residual limitations:

• Part of the catalogue and blog content is currently available in Italian only.
• Attached documents or third-party content may not meet all criteria.
