These General Conditions of Sale (“Conditions”) govern the distance selling of the products offered on this site. The Seller is the party indicated in the box above. The Conditions apply to contracts concluded with consumers pursuant to the Italian Consumer Code (D.Lgs. 206/2005) and to Legislative Decree 70/2003 (D.Lgs. 70/2003) on electronic commerce.
1. Subject matter
The Conditions govern the purchase of the food and related products presented on the site. By placing an order, the user declares that they have read and fully accepted these Conditions.
2. Products and availability
The products are described in their respective product sheets. The images are indicative and may differ slightly from the actual product. The mandatory food information (ingredients, allergens, quantity, storage, responsible operator) is set out in the product sheet before purchase, pursuant to Reg. (UE) 1169/2011. Product availability may vary; in the event of subsequent unavailability, the Seller will provide prompt notice.
3. Prices
All prices are expressed in Euros (€) and are understood to be inclusive of VAT. Shipping costs, if due, are indicated separately and shown clearly before order confirmation. The Seller reserves the right to change prices at any time; the price indicated at the time of the order shall prevail.
4. Conclusion of the contract
The order submitted via the site constitutes a purchase proposal. The contract is deemed concluded when the Seller sends the order confirmation to the user’s email address. Before submitting the order, the user may check and correct data-entry errors. The order summary and these Conditions are provided to the user on a durable medium (confirmation email).
5. Payments
Payment is made via PayPal (which also allows payment by card). Payment data is processed directly by the service provider and is not stored by the Seller. The order is processed after confirmation of payment.
6. Shipping and delivery
The methods, times and costs of shipping are indicated on the Shipping and Returns page, which forms an integral part of these Conditions.
7. Right of withdrawal
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reasons, in accordance with the methods indicated on the Right of Withdrawal page.
Pursuant to art. 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of:
- goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (perishable food products);
- sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of hygiene or health protection and which have been opened after delivery;
- goods made to measure or clearly personalised.
8. Legal guarantee of conformity
The products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity of 24 months provided for by artt. 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code. In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer has the right to restoration of conformity or to a price reduction / termination of the contract within the terms of the law. The guarantee does not apply to defects arising from storage or use not in accordance with the instructions.
9. Complaints and support
For any complaint or request for assistance, you may contact the Seller at the contact details indicated above. Complaints will be handled as promptly as possible.
10. Dispute resolution (ADR)
The European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform under Reg. (EU) 524/2013 was discontinued on 20 July 2025. Consumers may resort to the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures provided for by Italian Legislative Decree 130/2015 (implementing Dir. 2013/11/EU), by contacting one of the ADR bodies listed in the register kept by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (mimit.gov.it). The right to bring the matter before the competent judicial authority remains unaffected.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Conditions are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the court of the place of residence or domicile of the consumer has jurisdiction, if located within the territory of the State.
12. Language
These Conditions are drawn up in Italian and translated into other languages for the user’s convenience. In the event of a discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.
13. Changes
The Seller reserves the right to modify these Conditions. The Conditions in force at the time of the order apply, published on this page with date and version.
